The Team worked with the Ville de Roscoff and it’s residents to produce a strategic masterplan to guide their town’s development over the next 25 years. A new pleasure port is being developed to the east which will impact on the economic sustainability of this historic harbour town. The Team’s task was to safeguard the future prosperity of the town and it’s citizens by enabling the old town to respond positively to this opportunity. The team tested scenarios to ensure the new development enhances Roscoff old town and is developing strategies to balance the competing development needs of tourism, employment, housing and agriculture so that the town’s wider ambitions for growth can be realised.
